1958 Mays Craft in need of the right person to take over a restoration.
Built originally for W.A. Fisher, it was called Fisher King. It was in the day when Mayea Boat Works was building custom boats for Detroit's elite. Currently the boat is in an estate and is called Antiquity. Built on a hard chine modified V, planning hull with keel. The hull construction is single carvel planked mahogany with battens. The hull bottom is double planked marine plywood and mahogany. Frames are mahogany and oak on 12 inch centers and the stringer are fir. The transom is solid mahogany.
Powered by twin Chrysler Crown 6 cylinders with paragon marine gears and 3-blade props.
The boat can be seen by appointment. Currently it is outside under shrink-wrap. A 2015 survey is available to prospects upon accepted offers.
